Sin Lam had a profound effect on many of us and we want to celebrate her life by sharing our best and favorite memories of her. There is a certain symmetry to celebrating Sin Lam's life by combining technology (this blog) with our happiest memories. I would like to honor Sin, and use her as a role model. We want a constructive grieving process of sharing memories, using technology to solve a problem, but remaining optimistic and energetic throughout the entire process.
The stories do not need to be profound. It may be as simple as the memory of her "bouncing" into a meeting room or that familiar pounding of footsteps as she was rushing in to tell you of her exciting system implementation idea. (How many people can claim to have had exciting system ideas?)
A note: While I am actively soliciting favorite memories from anyone and everyone, this is a moderated blog. That means that I reserve the right to edit and/or censor any submissions we receive. If I perform any edits, I will clearly indicate where this has taken place, both in the posted comment as well as in an email reply to the person submitting the comment (assuming email addresses are provided). I apologize in advance if my editorial choices offend anyone. But I nevertheless will stand by my choice.
So, with that aside, I welcome comments, memories, stories, feelings, or whatever you would like to share.
